It looks (to me) like it is intended to release the occupants from the cross chest seat belt when the car stops and the engine is turned off, and, when the car is restarted,to return the cross-chest seat belt to its previous locked position on the sill. There appears to be a slot or track for the seat belt latch to travel in, but on my 348 spider, it does'nt ever move. Help!! |
